Omega General Help / 18"wheels tyre advice

got myself a set of momo 18" rims. they came off a mates omega. the tyres that were on it was 225-45-18. have been told that is a bit of an odd ball size. have been advised for 245-45-18. would this be a problem with rubbing & clearances. any advice please. thanks. jon.

Omega General Help / urgent. no idle on v6

need urgent help, have just replaced cam belt on my elite 3.0l, i cannot get the engine to idle at all. also miss-fires at low revs. rev engine up & is as sweet as a nut. any help please. i need this car on the road pronto. thanks.

Omega General Help / odd noise n/s/f

seem to have an odd metalic grating noise from the front n/s on left turns. only does it when travelling forwards. have jacked the front up, spun the wheel & no noise. cant see anything rubbing & have also bent the disc backing plate out a little. any idea`s please?.

Omega General Help / No heater fan

The wifes 2.5cdx seems to have developed an interesting heater blower prob. In the mornings when windows need de-misting, manual setting is selected, the blower doesnt work at all. No faults showing. Afternoon startup everything ok, blower works fine, although not blowing as hot as it maybe should be doing. Anybody have an idea they could give me please. thanks. jon.

my elite has quite a noisy top end, on listening to it on tickover today, tha rattle moves around...it can be o/s front then n/s rear, then o/s rear then n/s front :-?. i would have thought that if the lifters were buggered then the noise would be constant. its def not the injectors. any idea`s please. thanks. jon.

Omega General Help / very noisy top end(help)

could do with a little help here. my 3.0l has a VERY rattly top end, have spoke to a few members & they seem to think lifters. injectors a little noisy aswell. she has done 117 thou but had new engine at 45 odd thou due to belt tensioner collapsing & destroying engine, so only done about 70 thou. it needs cam gaskets & cam belt but would like to do it all in one go, does anyone have a parts cost idea & does anyone fancy a weekend job?.

I seem to have lost all control of the heating & air con on my 98 elite 3.0l auto. fuses ok, will blow but no heat or air con, help please. thanks. also the steering seems to wander, any idea`s.

As above,Toffee type, all need a re-furb. one has slight ding on inner but isnt noticed when on the move. havent any pics as yet but if you look at darthlooknees post they are pretty much in the same condition.
£130. ono. would prefer collection.
