General Discussion Area / Problems with my mobile

Hi peeps,

Just asking an opinion here.

My mobile phone keeps cutting off during calls
I have noticed that my signal strength indicator will suddenly drop to no signal.
I have spoken to 3 and all they want to do is have my phone re-flashed.
Now to me a re-flash will do nothing to the aerial side of things at all.
Am i right in this theory, or are they?

Dont really want a re-flash as i will lose most of the stuff on my phone and it will only end up going in again cos it still wont work properly

Is it possible to connect a printer direct to my Broadband router, so that it can be used wirelessly?
The router only has ethernet connections but i have noticed you can buy a converter to make it USB.

Is there a good free Windoes XP programme that can help spped up a tired comp?
The internet is dog slow, but is broadband
The general operation is also slow.
I have done full system scan for virus and spyware
I have done a disc clean up and defrag
The above has made it a tad better but not much.

Any ideas?

Can anyone recommend a good laptop bag that will hold a 15.4" laptop and the power supply properly rather than the power supply just shoved in a pocket somewhere?

Only asking as it seems a minefield of loads of bags to look at but not knowing which to buy

General Discussion Area / LPG- 6-8mm converter

I am trying to convert my 8mm fuel line to 6mm so that i can join to the tank valve and the vaporiser.
I have just been given 2 x elbows which will do this, but its no good to me as i need a straight one at both ends
Has anyone else had this trouble??
Do they do a straight one by chance??

Is it ok for the LPG nozzles to protrude into the manifold where the airflow is or should i try and grind them flush with the the inside of the manifold???

Where is the best place on a 2.5 v6 to mount the tap off for he MAF sensor for the LPG system?
As there doesn't seem to be alot of room on the plenum.

General Discussion Area / A day of woe with the LPG fitting

What a day..........run the fuel pipe from front to back only to find that the wrong end fiitings were present. I had 6mm and should have been 8mm, so now waiting for 6mm to 8 mm converters from Jeremy

So i got on and drilled the manifold only to find that my new tap set won't even tap ally

So need to return that and buy a better one.............oh the joy

I have found a HP dv6799 special edition which looks really good and pretty powerful processor wise.

Any views on this one or similar please??

General Discussion Area / LPG-Europa 2 Valve

Am looking at installing this valve in my 80l cylinder tank.
It states in the instructions that you must install the "safety valve rubber pipe" and it ought to be installed so that, after the multi-valve assy, its intake in the gaseous phase is turned upwards.
I don't have this pipe or a union to attach it too, only a large tapped hole in the valve.
A certain person thinks its not required, has anyone else had this???
