A mate up the road from me has the above, failed mot on exhaust, rear tyre. needs a battery. 80 odd k on the clock.
has oil leak but not looked at it tbh. burgandy colour in pretty good condition.
pm me for price but it is CHEAP.

General Car Chat / mv6 back on the road

the owd 3.0l mv6 is back on the road with nice new Mot today, new matrix fitted, was fed up of getting wet feet lol. new o/f front track arm, front brake strip n clean, clean n grease rear brake pipes, couple of small advisories but nowt major. not bad as its been laid up since last july. Happy bunny is me.

Never seen sooo much oil in the plug wells. 
Now you know why, what a bodge, the other side cover was also broken but not leaked thankfully.
all done & sorted, mind you a new o/s coil pack will be required as the oil has fubbered it.

Omega General Help / 3.0l elite hesitant driving off.

ok, here goes,
3.0l with lpg(dissconnected). from 1st start up cold or hot it runs very lumpy, try to drive off & it will cough & splutter, no power for maybe about 5-10 seconds then it will rev as normal. only does it from startup. drives normally after.
ive changed the maf, the tps, the icv. even throttle body & plenumn. dont seem to able to find any vac leaks.
now, ive noticed that its worse when the sai pump is running.
do we have any ideas chaps. oh, no codes are shown or management lights come on at all.

Omega General Help / 99 3.0, missing on one pot, will not run on Lpg.

wifey took car to work, running on lpg, engine cut out. restarted on petrol but now has missfire. will not run on gas at all,(it has gas) ive had the rear tank solenoid valve go before, fitted new nearly 2 years ago now.
checked for codes= none.
the other thing, on first start up from cold we sometimes dont get throttle response until its floored, sometimes with a pop in the intake. Tps?
any ideas folks.
