My daughter has "managed" to crack the screen on her nearly new laptop(e-machines e-520) has anyone any idea if a repair is possible and cost effective,or do i have to bite the bullet and get a new one?. I have tried the home insurance route but it is more trouble than it is worth ( excess,no claims etc)
>:(My daughter went for yet another interview in a shop, was told if she was succesful she would be working the grand total of 4 hours per week! got a letter this morning-thank you for your interest etc ,you can guess the rest, she's starting to get really down about the job situation, 18 years old and losing hope already-still ,British jobs for British people ,eh gordon? country is run by muppets
DUE TO A CHANGE IN MY WORK PATTERN,I AM DRIVING MORE MILES AROUND TOWN,AND AS YOU CAN IMAGINE THE MIGGY IS NOT THE BEST CAR FOR THIS JOB,SO SADLY IT HAS TO GO ,SO I'VE PUT IT ON E-BAY FOR NOT A LOT OF MONEY(IN MY MIND ANYWAY!) ---- mod edit ---- I'M IN NEWCASTLE SO IDEAL FOR ANYONE LOCAL
Have a good Christmas all, i'll have to be up till god knows what time waiting for the kids to go to sleep so me and the mrs can put out the pressies. The morning will be totally mad, with the living room looking like a waste paper recycling depot but what the hell -the kids enjoy it!!!all the best everyone.
When i bought the miggy i was given a file of paperwork showing service and parts reciepts ,i thought "great it's been well looked after" however having spent some time working on the car it looks like the previous owners have been well taken for a ride -spark plugs only renewed on the easy(drivers) side,a pollen filter so dirty it could be the original! god knows what's been going on with it! anybody else had the same experience?
