ROFL! Swmbo just called frantically from the kitchen, she's put 'just a little bit' of Fairy Liquid and bleach into the washing machine to 'clean all the inside bits'! 
Have you seen those spoofs on Tv where a mountain of foam bubbles comes out of the washer & engulfs the house?
Gawd only knows how long it will take to flush all that crap out & get back to normal! Mind you, the bloody machine should be brand new when it's finished rinsing enough water to flood the sodding Sahara! I just hope we've got enough towels etc to keep the floor reasonably dry, else the laminate will start to lift and it won't be funny any more

General Discussion Area / Wonderful Grandchildren

I've been in a fair amount of non stop pain from my old spinal injury for some time now, heavier pain than usual & quite depressed over my inability to deal with it without use of heavy doses of 'painkillers' (now there's an Oxymoron if ever there was one! ).
Now with the School Hols under way, we've had the pleasure of our Granddaughters company for a few days and she's seen me at a low ebb
She came up to me as I sat alone in the conservatory watching the torrential rain after lunch and totally out of the blue she recited:
 I wish you were a Glowworm,
'cos glowworms are never glum ,
It's hard to be a glum glowworm
when the sun shines outa your bum!
She then gave me a big hug & a kiss on the cheek!
Well after laughter & tears in equal measure, she's gone back home for today but left me 'On the Up' with a happy warm glow!
God Bless my little Evie, 7 years going on 70!!!

Omega General Help / Will these tyres fit?

I've been offered two new Firestone firehawk TZ200 205/50/16 tyres with the possibility of 2 more. They are a lower profile and slightly narrower than the  225/65/16's fitted to my 2.2 f/lift CDX saloon. Can some kind person tell me if they will fit my CDX alloys and if so, are they suitable for my car? Many thanks

Please cast your eyes skywards if venturing outside this evening. My Gazebo was last seen heading South Westerly at approx. 60 feet at a high rate of knots. it's expected to reach the Scilly Isles at 04:00hrs tomorrow unless something gets in its way!!!
