and pouring rain, sitting watching telly and heard that all too familiar cherp of a dying powersounder followed by screech and at 11.15pm so tried to shut it up to no avail so removed it in 10mins flat with minamal light to. now all can sleep well in my street tonight

ps it has been giving me warning signs but I've just been to lazy to do it. I think it's teaching me a lesson

will break it open to see what it's like inside.

i can't believe how thick my Missus is sometimes, just watching adverts on tv and British airways advert comes on the one with the plane driving through London. she turns to me and says "how did they drive the plane through the streets?"

Omega General Help / track rods set up

I have to replace both sides inner and outer. are there a standard number of turns each end to set up or do I have to unscrew old ones and count the turns. I only ask because I know that the old ones will probably be seiezed and I can't be bothered to unseize them from middle bar. hope this makes sence cheers Ian

natwest what a joke was expecting money in my account today but due to computer issues have to wait now. was supposed to go food shopping but now no money in what am I to do. no wonder banks lose customers and faith in the public who are good customers. it's diffrent when you owe them money shame we have to rely on them so much

had a ransom letter through today saying that if I didn't pay £121 or £220 my car would be towed away and crushed and they gave me until 30/6/12 to do it.

now do I report it as a threat against my property or should I pay up?

it's so windy down here in the merry old south west. driving back from Newton abbot to Plymouth on A38 at a modist 60 (as it was hammering it down with rain) a massive branch from a tree snapped off about 50 yards in front of me causing me to take advasive action (ie cover my eyes and pray ) i swerved to avoid said branch luckily keeping control of the car.good job I wasn't going faster or lord knows what would have happened. mean while both kids were fast asleep oblivious to the situation. just goes to show anything can happen when you least expect it

Omega General Help / cracked alloy

as per title went to the garage today to get new tyre on(worn to cords on inside edge )
and guy says as he takes off old tyre you've got a crack in it. it's about 3 inches long. just wondering best way to repair it or what to do. can't buy new one cause I can't find them any where

General Car Chat / been offered a couple of vectras

been offered a couple of 03 vectras both diesel 2.2dti. one is £900 but done 160k and with some service history and the other one needs new head as he put timing chain on wrong or something after hg change got some service history and done 112k and is £500 I know I can get recon head from local firm for £300 so I don't know which on to go for or wait till something else better comes along, thoughts please
