General Discussion Area / Rover K Series help
« on: 02 October 2006, 18:14:06 »
Anyone know where the diagnostics socket is on Rover 25 - buggered if I can find it!

Is it possible to flash the codes out as per older Omegas, or is it code readers only?

Is it OBDII compliant?

TIA

Not quite the mega party at Marks_DTM earlier this year (that was 7 cambelts on a cold February day), but we're doing a couple of cambelts round Bo Bo's place on Saturday.

Looking forward to it  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

General Discussion Area / This evenings little jobs
« on: 20 September 2006, 21:07:53 »
Couple of quick jobs on MV6

Quick oil change, I'd let it go a little longer than normal, around 5k.

Also unblocked the washer pump gauze that had blocked yet again.

Was it me, or is it starting to get a little chilly in the evenings now....

Is it me, or is it slow?

Running beta 2 (should have RC1 on in a few hours), and its taken about 3hrs to copy a 7.5Gb file from the server to the Vista machine (same thing under XP is less than 10m)  >:(

I know its beta, and probably still running a lot of debug code, but thats ridiculous. Is RC1 any quicker?

Well done Markiec, you've made it to God status.

When I checked this morning, I didn't think you'd do it until tomorrow.

Somehow, you've done a tunnie, and been on a posting blitz - no wonder the forum has been under the weather today  ;)

General Discussion Area / Poor performance this morning
« on: 14 September 2006, 12:51:45 »
OK, we have identified the cause of the poor performance this morning, and have rectified. Performance should be back to what it was yesterday, possibly still with the slow down for certain ISPs.  MTU currently back to default, we may have to change again at some point over next few days depending on reported speed issues.

The cause was unrelated to the Redhat server that runs the forum.

I would like to sincerely apologise for the problems that todays slow down and outages (it had a reboot, plus apache restarted a few times).

OK, MTU changed on Redhat server overnight. Does it appear faster today (Thurs) and it did before, or is it slower?
