General Car Chat / surface rust underneath

Mines an 02 plate mv6 and have a bit of surface rust underneath the car at the front where the underseal seems to have been missed.Anyone else had this expeirience,just thinking of skimming it over with the linisher and undersealing before it gets extensive and fails mot.

Had another one today,so getting to the end of my tether with it now.Changing the oil today,filled the car with new oil,and started engine,and it decided to empty its contents all over the bloody drive,so had to go out and buy another 5 litres,apart from the new oil filter housing cap that shattered.Anyone want to buy a 3.2 for £50,oh go on then £49.

Having a really bad day today,as the car is still playing up,and to top it all off,i went to change the oil today and couldent get the cap off the oil filter housing,must of spent 3 hours trying,and in the end the thing totally split in half under the pressure 
.Anyone have any idea how much new or if anyone has a spare to let me know how much.
