Flex-joint blowing where it meets the cat. Can I use a wrap around exhaust bandage or am I looking at more expense :question

Omega General Help / Lack of throttle response on DBW

Code P1555--TPS. EML illuminates randomly. Symptons; When pressing throttle to pull away engine doesn`t rev at all, release throttle momentarily and press again, all OK. Also happens, albeit not all the time, when accelerating after slowing at junctions/give ways. Same operation, quick release and press down on throttle and OK again. Stripped and cleaned throttle body and breathers, still the same. No other codes and car runs perfect. Any ideas please :-/

Got no code as yet for CCR2006 but need to replace battery. Would it be OK to connect battery charger to +ve & --ve batt. leads and switch over battery or is it better to use jump leads :-/

Passenger seat stuck in "up" position. Motor is trying to turn threaded bar but won`t budge. Nothing jammed anywhere. What fitment is on the rear end of the bar to manually wind down :question

Right, I`ve slid the outer sleeve away from the switch body. Where are the tangs to push to remove the thing. 12 o/c & 6 o/c
from the driver`s seat or 3 o/c & 9 o/c :-?
And what do you use to push `em both at the same time :question

Omega General Help / DBW problems

For all of you with DBW. Problem I`ve been having past two days. I go to pull away and there is no revs above idle. Release the pedal and press it again quick full revs are there. No eml on. Also happens if I decelerate then press the pedal again, have to release then quick press. As you can imagine, not ideal especially when pulling out from a junction. Any ideas please chaps I know absolutely zilch about the DBW set up. :-/ :-/

Further to my threads re heating/coolant loss. Done some more fettling. Initial start-up........lumpy for about 15secs than OK. Engine idling with coolant cap OFF.......coolant moving. With cap ON...........run for 10mins.........switch off..........wait a few minutes then release cap.............coolant bubbles up to near top of tank. When smelling the tank it reeks of exhaust/fuel. Is it the head gasket :question

Anyone know the normal running temp on a facelift 2.0. Mine sits between 75 and 80. Is that about right :-/
