As per title, rev counter seems to stick when when revs rise then jump up to where it should be, when revs fall the needle drops smoothly.

Any ideas?

Could anyone advise me of the price for a set of genuine front springs for a 2003MY 3.2 Elite saloon

I believe the correct shocks are LH 9192249 and RH 9192250 so it's whatever springs go with them.

Omega General Help / Rear springs - best ones to get

Been to WIM today and now need to get some rear springs, car is a 3.2 Elite Saloon with air/self levelling shocks (I've got a new set of them to go on already).

Does anyone know a part number and price? They don't appear to be on the tradeclub site so if there is a better or more cost effective brand then any info would be appreciated.

Omega General Help / Removing rear seat back side panels

Is there a knack to removing the side panels on the outer edges of the rear seat back on a facelift saloon? Haven't had chance to take a close look but thought i'd ask here before I broke anything!

How do you lower the Bose shelf? I can find four plastic clips but the shelf still seems to be attached to the metalwork.

Perhaps i'm being too gentle with it!

Quick question, does the front sensor just 'pop off' the pivot that is bolted to the wishbone? Heard stories of them snapping if you're not careful.

Is there a specific Wishbone for cars fitted with HID's as one of the level sensors connects to the N/S one?

Also, who was it that Mark uses for the pattern wishbones?

Omega General Help / Aircon Compressor - Noisy Bearings?

I have just replaced the tensioner for the Aux belt in an attempt to cure a 'metalic rattle' upon startup, the old one was past it's best anyway so required changing.

I still have the rattling sound and by pressing ECO it disappears, It only lasts about 20 seconds from a cold (ie left overnight) start then is fine even when restarting 7 or so hours later. My thoughts are that the new Aux Belt, a genuine VX item is applying a bit more tension and showing up failing bearings in the Aircon Compressor.

Is this a do-able job or shall I take it to an Aircon specialist? Is there anything else I should be looking at?

Are the inlet manifolds (or trumpets as I think they are also known) identical on all V6's - 2.5, 3.0, 2.6 and 3.2? Also what about the injectors and fuel rail?
