Omega Gallery / Interior change

A successful change of interior over the past few days,  all started with heated seat failure of the front passenger seat and a not very happy Mrs. Moffat  All is now smiles again  and is loving the new comfort 
My thanks to twiglet for  supplying the interior and all the advice and help he has given and also to TheBoy for his patience and help with his wiring diagram alteration for the drivers seat  Everything now is fully functioning 
A very happy bunny indeed.   
Now going to concentrate on the paintwork, any ideas anyone with faded red paint  anyone

Collected my replacement leather interior on Sunday evening  and now hoping for good weather this weekend so that I can replace that tired cloth one

Omega General Help / Walnut dash up grade!

I have a 99 CD and would like to smarten up the bland radio/heater dials! I have acquired a very nice walnut replacement but notice that it has comes from a climate control omega ! is it possible to remove the outer informative rings from an old dial dash & fit to the walnut one!  :-/

Omega General Help / Now MOTed!

As you may have seen in my previous posting in the 'Newbie Welcome Section' and my MOT failure due to high emissions!

Firstly glad to say the a new MOT issued to-day, Hooray , I can't remember the last time I had a refusal in last 30 odd years!
Anyway, all down to a loose butterfly in the throttle housing & a suspect gasket! also the throttle potentiometer was replaced for good measure, which may also be a contributing factor.

So now a very happy Bunnie, as the Omega has now transformed into a excellent driving machine once again, funny how things slowly deteriorate (especially at my age!) which you slowly accept!

Newbie Welcome Area / Hi to One and All

Hello; Funny that in desperate times one needs help and understanding when it comes to one's pride and JOY!
I have been quite happily enjoying my Omega for the last three years or so, until a refusal MOT on Wednesday due to slightly excessive CO readings. Unfortunately I do not have the skills nor the box of tricks to plug into the management system! I do however have a good mechanic Lee on hand.
Unfortunately yesterday he was unable to trace the cause for this reading and now has postponed his investigations until Monday morning for a more intense look , so fingers crossed.
So, now my Saturday shopping is relegated to the wife's Metro

Hope that I can gain some moral support here!
