Hi guys, Just bought an excellent irmscher rear bumper from Serek Thanks mate well happy.
It has parking sensors in it and he has given me the control unit aswell with part loom. Only 2 wires have been cut and i am assuming these are the ones for the speaker or buzzer which was not included. does anyone know how to wire it in and what sort of buzzer or speaker do i need to get it working? it is a bosch parkpilot. part number is either 0 263 004 011 or 5104 47856 020208. it has a brown and brown/red twin wire in a black sleeve which has been cut, a 6 pin plug which i assume goes to the sensors, a black wire with female spade connector a black/white wire with male spade connector a red wire (which i assume is the +12v input ) this has a male spade connector in a white plug housing and a brown wire (which i assume is the -12v input ) this has a round connector on the end which looks like it bolts to the car body.
Can somebody please help me by letting me know what needs to be connected where. and what type of buzzer i need.

Hi guys. I am thinking of removing my bose system and replacing it with an after market setup. I dont want to put a massive box with a sub in the boot and was thinking for Just replacing the 2 bose subs. Does anyone know the size of them? I have seen some 6.5 inch ones. Would these fit or would i have to make the holes bigger.  Cheers

Hi guys just after some advise really. i was just wondering if i could do a straight swap for rear vented brakes and calipers  from a 3.2 onto a mfl mv6 3.0 which has solid rear discs. will they fit? is it just a straight swap or is there some mods that would need to be done?  Cheers guys and happy new year to you all

Hi guys. my 3.0l mv6 has started to hesitate when i am changing up a gear, its like it struggling for a brief second or like its cutting out and then it fine. Its only just started doing it. any ideas what this could be?

Hi guys i have some heated seats from an elite, what will i need to fit them into my 1999 mv6, i have noticed that the wiring is behind the rear fag lighter and i have the switches to plug in there. Do i need any additional wiring and if so where does it connect?
Also is there any way of telling if the front seats i have are from a pre facelift or facelift as i understand that the two different types are not compatable.

Hi guys i have a 2.5 with lpg fitted to it. I want to have it taken out and put into my 3.0 mv6. Does anybody know anyone who will do this. Preferabley in the south west as i am in swindon. I have been back to the place that fitted it and they dont want to know they will only fit a new one at a cost of £1800 twice what i paid for the car.

Hopefully someone can help me and put me in contact wth someone who would do this for me.

Hi does anybody know if you can wire an aux input to a ccrt 700 via the traffic master system if i ditch it. when i press the button to activate the traffic master the display says :aux in, so there must be an aux input built into the stereo.
If you can do this is it a small power supply that switches the stereo in to aux mode like an amp remote wire turns an amp on? If somebody knows if and how to do this it would be great if you can let me know. A wiring diagram would also be helpful.

Posted my problem here before and was advised to change my cdc2 changer.
Basically my changer was not ejecting the magazine, so i bought another one from LINCS ROBERT
Just fitted it and i still have the same problem
Can anybody advise me? Is there a problem with my headunit (BOSE ccrt700)

Hi Guys I am looking for a full set of locks for my 99 pf/l saloon with 2 keys.
I recently bought my mv6 and have realised that the key for the boot doesnt work, This is most annoying as two weeks ago the cenral locking failed on the boot and i had to climb through the back seats to open it. I have sorted it now, One of the wires was broken. But would like to change the locks incase this happens again.

I would like a set of locks including:
2 keys
ignition lock
door lock
boot lock
and if possible a glove box lock

Does anyone know if these will fit on to a pf/l saloon? with or without modifications
