« on: 26 August 2007, 08:00:59 »
What the problem is with my car stereo today, need to take the door cards and that off, the sound from the passenger side keeps cutting out and losing the bass aswell, this only started after having to have the the window replaced after the vandals broke it, so I think the glass folks must have done something with the wiring, will soon find out :y....hopefully. ::)

Meegas on my way to Huntingdon yesterday, 2 at Cambridge services, silver facelift, and a prefacelift, on on A14 heaing towards huntingdon burgundy/red pre-facelift, going back down to london M11 pre-facelift silver and pre-facelift estate. The latter 3 I had the courtesy to slow donw just to make sure they spotted the OOF sticker. Also a pre-facelift blue outside armstrong court, huntingdon next to my brothers place. The first 2 and the last one all got flyers. Also spotted pre-facelift in a side street in huntingdon, but on my way out it was gone so could'nt flyer it :(...there was also another 2 spotted heading south pre-facelift, whilst I was going north.

Thats a grand total of 9 on my short trip.  :y

« on: 18 August 2007, 16:15:44 »
I am curently online via an 0845 number (being charged) >:(, could'nt access the freephone BT number continually engaged, and stating there was a charge. Bear in mind I have just swapped over from NTL (Line went down when road workers cut through cable) anyway was changing over to sky so had the BT line put back on. Anyone else using AOL and a BT access number, and having the same problems?, not sure how mujch this is costing me at the moment :-/

« on: 18 August 2007, 16:11:15 »
Done the breathers this afternoon, they were pretty well crapped up, used a whole can of carb cleaner on them, and renewed the seals as they where all gone/had it.

This seal had pretty much had it.

« on: 18 August 2007, 16:23:48 »
I just went out this affo., to start on the breathers, spotted a lad climbing over the wall/fence on the house over the road, knew he did'nt stay there, assumed he was locked out of one of the neighbouring houses. Anyway a few minutes later a few police cars turn up, I told them the lads description etc.. took my details, soon after a dog van turn sup and there searching the gardens etc.. Anyway doing the breathers the cops come over and start looking at my car and chatting etc., he says well what have you had it up to then (speed), he its OK won't say anything, I said well whilst going up the road last week overnight had it up to 125 taking a subaru. :y, He said yeah don't blame you I would be doing exactly the same :y

General Discussion Area / Forced Holiday from OOF
« on: 13 August 2007, 15:51:23 »
Morissons started digging up the road on Friday and cut through the telephone and tv cables, including the BT cable. So unless BT can fix their line before NTL won't be on the Forum much until its all sorted. Thankfully I have a freeview box so can at least get cbeebies for the kids. Anyway folks catch up soon.
