Omega General Help / Rear Subby Bushes, Upgrade options

Following recent events and Marks DTM suggesting I upgrade to Senny bushes, I was wondering if anyone has ever made solid ones? I have only had a brief look, but I gather there is 4 the same and they are easy enough to change? Anyone got any pics? How much better are the senny ones?

Short of pulling the plug on the unit (which is a right pita to lock back in!) any ideas on the best way to switch off the ABS? (Temporarily stylee)

What are my options?! (Bearing in mind I am lowering it 40mm soon) as I understand it has lottery wining self levelling sus on it?

Is there any adjustments that can be done to the clutch on my 3.2? (Dont even know if it's cable or fluid!)

And where is the best place to get a new one if needs be? (Does anyone list 3.2?)

Omega General Help / Driveshaft problem...

Yuletide greetings guys!  

Heading over to my parents today and the cv joint on the diff end on the n/s rear driveshaft has decided to die  

How different (if at all) is the 3.2 to other engined 'megas on theses and shoud the 'cup' that sits in the diff end (the bit with the abs spigot on) be part of the d/shaft or left in the diff? If not then how do I get it out or does it just lever out?

Hope to get some pics up later, all the fun happens at christmas!  :-?

Omega General Help / slight brake worry...

Literally got back to the office from lunch so havnt had a chance to begin looking yet but on the way back my brakes seem to have dissapeared  

they kinda work, but as i pulled up to the car park, the pedal just goes to the carpet and then the abs cuts in fairly hideously!

I gather a leak or something, just wanted to run it past you guys too

Omega General Help / My V6 is a V-random!

Had a hint of a miss every so often through the rev range for a few weeks, but last night it went into super mental misfire and had the mange light flashing away as I limped home (also wouldn't idle)...

Done the usual code check just now and got the 0300 as expected but also got:

P0704 Clutch Switch Input Circuit Malfunction

Would this have anything to do with it as apart from the miss codes and the usual 0420 cat below efficiency its a new one!

Typically, its done it as I am moving house at the mo and needed to shuttle around, also internet access will be none existant at best.

Still any help guys is MUCHLY appreciated as per

Omega General Help / ABS and miss fire

firstly, I gather the plastic tube thingy (which I appear to have snapped on the plug at the wheel end with some tyre thread) that plugs in near the rear chassis rail is to to with traction an abs? Couldnt really see where it goes on the wheel end though.

Also do the V6's get a bit upset about water? getting a bit of an intermittant miss through the rev range on easy throttle and it was pretty wet on saturday!

Im hoping to fit a saab turbo lump in my 200sx with an omega box (and thus combining my 3 favourite cars!   )

Right, as I am soon to be in the market for a derv elite wagon B, I have a few questions, mainly about tuning.

Firstly, I have heard with a rangie tubby, IC and some chippage it can make a good amount of power and torque. Can any one shed any further light?

Secondly, is the auto box any good and whats the power/torque max rating on these?

Thirdly, anything else I need to look for on these as I am looking for a decentish example with around 1500 to spend with room to do a few choice mods to make it 'mine'  8-)

Newbie Welcome Area / Hello, sort of noob!

Well, after owning a beloved carlton and awesome senny 24v in dubious gold I bought a 96 Elite saloon which shortly after purchase blew its HG's! So I started a much more complex rebuild than I really needed and ended up having my ready to rock heads nicked. Have in the mean time been weighing up lpg vs deisel and thinking I really need a wagon, so am on here to share the wealth, learn alot and generally find bits to get me motoring again!
