.....came off in my hand today while driving ........got the irmscher gear knob, has a fitting inside it, can't get it out, have tried twisting it with long nose pliers ....now I know MarksDTM got the bit inside out at York, but I did'nt see what he used to get it out with

Omega General Help / WELL HERE WE GO........................

.....changed the DIS packs at the weekend, took the car for a run evrything appeared fine ..however, since then the problem has returned, misfires ...........OK so did'nt change the plugs, have them on order and will change them on Saturday........cleared the stored codes tonight, started engine, was not happy at all, read codes again misfires on 3, 5 & 6, prior to this when first started engine after clearing codes EML started to flash then eventualy stay on, that has been the case most days with the EML since changing the DIS packs, and also prior to changing DIS packs after when the problem occured after returning from Newent.   I have read through the help section looking for similar problems and came across, spark plugs and possibly CATS............and yes MarksDTM you were probably correct in your diagnosis.....so comments suggestions please

Omega General Help / OVER REVING

cleaned the throttle body on Saturday at shifnal but the revs are still sticking at 1500 and above when stationery in traffic, when I depress the clutch and slight pressure on the accelarator it will go to normal, seems to be revving higher now sometimes more than before, did I miss something when cleaning the throttle body?, or is there potentially something else?

Do the pillar trims just pull off?, as there are no visible retaining bits, gonna put in the rear blind parcel shelf today, so removal of the pillar trims will make it easier.

Omega General Help / COOLANT PROBLEM!!!!...HELP

Check coolant came on last nit on the MID, so about half hour ago checked the tank and it was empty, nipped down to the garage and bought some Comma coolant to top it up with, topped it up to the level, I have just been for a short run up to peckham, less than 2 mile round trip, now got steam coming from the engine bay, looks like something is leaked from underneath the engine but can't see where it is coming from.

Find it unusual that after getting it back after lamda's getting done yesterday I have no coolant left :-/

Could there be an air lock in the system???

Well since July have had the EML light on, and despite being reset Big thanks to TB ...has came back on, so I have now bit the bullet and ordered 4 sensors for the exhaust system from Vx, should have these on friday, and have them fitted if not at the weekend, by end of next week. Hopefully if TB 's not to busy have a trip up to reset the EML light  before chrimbo

Engine revs keep sticking at 1500 rpm, Broocie did suggest cleaning a doo daa thingy on the engine next to the plenum, but i don't have one on my engine :-/, any suggestions?

Took these pics today, and this may be the cause of my problem with the oil check light, there is obviously a leak but where do you think its coming from, possible cause?
