General Discussion Area / HAVING A LAUGH.....YEAH RIGHT
« on: 30 November 2006, 19:22:00 »
THat time again insurance runs out at 1.00a.m. tonight. Had a quote from performance direct at £570.00, without protection, £612.00 with. Thought that was good, as my current insuraners quote was £739.79. Anyway advised my insurere of the lower quote, low and behold they reduced it too £605.30. :y

This morning I e-mailed performance direct just to confirm that the quote covered the irmscher modifications etc.,..e-mailed back saying no...it would be considerably higher as the quote is online and insurance is provided by AXA. I e-mailed him back saying why can that be my curremnt insurer has offered at £605, mods insured, free this free that, 1k stereo cover, 250 excess, but no claims protection. Anyway he replies stating my insurer must have a special undewriting deal with AXA to be able to provide the lower quote, which they don't have..OK fine and Thanks. ::)

So I contact my current insurer..Oh yes Mr Bla Bla Raindow sheep ;D ;D...£739.00..no I replied got a lower reduced quote at 605..Oh yes Mr Bla Bla Rainbow sheep, she replied........Can you provide me with a quote to protect my 10 yrs no claims please, Yes I will call u back later, which she did and.......wait for it........Well Mr Bla Bla Rnbw Sheep to do that you are on unlimited mileage, bla bla bla, so it would be.......£790.00 ;D ;D  (   .........Laugh nearly fell oot ma chair.....No thanks I will stay unprotected then, call back later and pay the policy...Bye. :y

General Discussion Area / OOTSIDE MA HOOSE - NAE PARKIN
« on: 18 November 2006, 17:17:35 »
Seen as McBurgers quest came to no avail today, I was going to fit the ali interior trims, However, upon reading the instructions found that I would need to use a hairdryer in case any uneven spots appear or on exterior edges, and alos to make the trims felxible etc.. OK thats fine only one problem, cars half way down the street on other side of the road, and i can't get F****n parked ootside ma hoose or even close, and no f***** from the other side of the street have moved their cars all F****n day. Normally i don't mind but it's a bit of a pisser when you need to run any electrical stuff for your car.  >:(... RANT OVER

General Discussion Area / ROYAL MAIL POSTAL SCAM - BEWARE
« on: 15 November 2006, 08:17:55 »
Just thought I'd post this to warn you folks, and maybe pass this on to you relatives etc., It has been confirmed by Royal Mail / Trdaing Standards; A card is posted through your door from a company called PDG (Parcel delivery Service), suggesting they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 09066611911 (a premium rate number); DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize. If you call the number you hear a recorded message and you will have already been billed for £15.00 for the call..............cheeky buggers >:(

Should any one receive a card with the above details , you can contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655. :y
