Aa couple of weeks ago my v6 developed a high pitched bearing noise at the front of the engine, so i removed the aux belt and the noise dissapeared, so i guessed it was the aux pulley and puchased a new one from vx.
Today i fitted it and started the engine only to find that the noise was still there, DAMM BLAST AND DEARY ME[in not so many words] it turns out to be the alternator bearings are noisey.
I know that they are replacable but i want to know if there are any special tools needed to do the job.
Thanks Gary.
