Hi all i have a 2lt 8v engine in my car.The engine runs stop on but uses ahell of alot of oil.I only did an oil change about 2 weeks before xmas and iv already had to put more oil in as it wasnt even on the min.The car has done 180,000 miles but not sure if the car has an engine swap or if its the same engine from day one.Can anyone tell me why im using so much oil as its costing me alot of money amonth in oil

Hi all iv been reading up on putting new engine coolent in.When it comes to flushing it all out out it says that i have to fill it up run the car then empty it out about 2-3 times.could i just put a hose pipe in the coolent bottle and leave it running till it all comes out as clear water.Also if theres anyother tips on it would be greatful :yalso would i have to bleed it or is it self bleeding

Omega General Help / car sometimes loses its power

Hi all every now and again after iv parked the car for a few mins when i drive of again there is no power to it and i have to rev the engine then its fine.I replace the lambda sensor about 3/4 weeks ago as this was the prob it was having before but 10 times worst.can anyone else think what can be wrong with it.I do have a small hole in the exhaust could that be the reason why

Hi all on my way back home today i lost power and the engine manament light came on.I took the car out of gear and revved the engine and that seamed to of sorted it.When i got home i did the paper clip test and its reading code 45 what is this.the car is a 2lt 8v
