I have just had fitted a new radiator, engine coolant, I notice that there are 2 blocked off connections on the drivers side of the rad. which I thought were for atf cooling. Do I have a seperate atf cooler inside the grill somwhere and is the fan on the front of the rad drivers side to cool a seperate atf cooler. V6 03

Why cant I see the HBV When I look under the scuttle is it at a lower level .I am trying to feel for a coolant leak but cant find the HBV.I would like to do this without removing the scuttle if possible.Is it slightly left of centre drivers side looking from front of car.

I have 1 strand of hair coming out of tail pipe do I assume that the baffle has gone and will it get worse .Is it only the back box that has this hair. Are exhaust centres ok for a replacement. Any recommendations

Even after regular cleaning out my scuttle drain has blocked and I think that I just caught it in time before flooding the car. Has anybody made a modification to solve this ongoing problem with its flooded interior of car and possible speed controller failure consequences.

Can anybody give me the part no. for a 2.6 v6 2003 saloon. passenger side headlight. Any advice on where to obtain a replacement for mine which is showing damp on the lens I assume a seal has gone can they be fixed.

On my display panel ,average consumption, outside temp etc. the lighting seems to have almost disappeared during day light The control to increase and decrease does its job but on a bright day I cannot read the display. Could it be the dimming control getting lazy. Any ideas.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of James V6 CDX coming down to Kent to change Cam Belt, Water Pump , Auxiliary belt and tensioner, Thermostat and clean breathers. Fantastic job by the nicest person your likely to meet. Thanks James I hope you missed the chaos on the M25.Highly recommended

I am trying to diagnose whether my thermostat is working Starting from cold The 2 small rubber pipes on drivers side of engine bay going through a pump? get hot very quickly , heater off, whilst the top hose to rad is cold.After a short time heat does appear at the top hose but the temperature gauge is still not moving. keep running and the gauge begins to register and on normal driving settles at 85-90.but can take quite a while to get to this temp. Why are the 2 small rubber hoses getting hot first do they go to the heater? why would they get hot with heater off does that pump? run all the time.I hope this makes sense I dont want to replace the thermostat if it OK.
