Omega General Help / fuel pump

Hi all i`ve been told i need a new fuel pump and have been told it`l cost me around £700 as it is a difficult job and also will need to be programmed once fitted. is this true i though it would pretty straight foward to fit through the floor of the boot. any help would be welcome.

Omega General Help / injector pump on my tractor

hi all it`s been a while,
can anyone help!! my injector pump is leaking I need the rubber seal that fit`s around the inside of the lid of the injector pump, i`ve been told off mr vauxhall that you have to buy a new pump as they don`t do spares for it, crikey are they taking the pee, a new pump for the sake of a rubber seal that would cost a few pounds, HELP

Hi all it`s been a while, my head lights are crap, have had the lenses cleaned up, there a bit better but not great any ideas on upgrades what i can and can`t do. cheers gary

Hi all, my air blowers run at highest speed setting no matter what i do even with the key out of the ignition, i have to disconet the battery to shut it off. Any ideas folks it has just started doing this today. :-/

Omega General Help / 2.5 td auto box

Hi everyone, anyone help. when my auto box changes from second to third under moderate to heavy accelaration the gear box seems unable to select third and when it does the car jercks quite a bit as if the motor has misfired,  it feels like it can`t find third,  if i lift off a bit it changes up no prob, also if i go easy on the power it changes almost seemless throuh all gears, it`s better if i use sport mode, do I need a gear box oil change or is it more terminal.

  Ive been told by my local garage that my 1995-96 2.5td has a timing chain rather than a belt, is this true as i thought it had a belt.

  hi everyone. i took my clocks out today as my mile couter has stopped working, the speedo works fine but the mile digits are not mooving, could`t see what the prob is, any ideas anyone, also when i put my clocks back in no display on my computer, i think  it`s just the bulbs coz one of them was already out, do i have to do anything to rest the mfd. help

  hello everyone forgot to add my motor has been superchipped as well, it go`s like a good`n. Just fitted a new panasonic cd head unit, much better sound than the o.m.e. not a bad job to fit it either. only had my omega for a couple of weeks but love it already, love leaving them boy racers in my wake.

Hi one for the tehc guys. Am I right in thinking the Daewoo Laganza, a 2 litre saloon is based on the Omega, I`m still looking for a heater blower control unit and though i could pull one off the Daewoo, as i found one in a scrappy, and thought if it is, stuff like that is prob the same.  I know it`s based on a vauxhall but not sure if it`s the carlton or the Omega.
