Bloody IE crashed, 2nd attempt at this one.
Bear with me its a long one.
My neighbour gashed a tyre on his Galaxy earlier whilst cornering too fast and hitting the kerb. He asked me for a loan of my pump which I duely loaned him not realising the actual damage.
I got a call from him after he had given up with my pump and gone to the local petrol station. As I arrived he was loosening the bolts on the wheel. Unfortunately the locking wheel nut was seized solid. I went home for some BIGGER TOOLS. These only succeded in shredding the fitting for the locking wheel nut, Some stupid spline shaft design :-?
He then decided to bring the Galaxy back and slap it in my drive for tomorrows attempt at beating a high impact socket on to remove the bugger. I guided him in on the passenger side and he was watching the drivers side. I signalled to stop and my wheelie bin got it tight (whack)
I moved the bin and signaled all clear (Crunch!!!) there goes a nice dent and scrape on the rear drivers side door and panel behind that
Remember, I was watching the passenger side.
At this point his blood is boiling and he is bitching like buggery. He reverses out and takes a wider approach. Smack, wheelie bit got it tight again. New scrape from the gate on the bumper also.
As a result his poor dogs have to spend the night at the kennels now, no Neapollitain slobbery Mastiffs are getting in my car :-?
I had to give him a lift to the kennels to feed the dogs at which point they were closed (after 9pm). He still went in and all hell broke loose. At least 60 dogs barking like f***.
So, tomorrow i get to remove more alloy wheels. At least Vx have a decent locking wheel nut that actually can be removed. Says something for fords security though
