Omega General Help / possible problem 1st-2nd gear auto 2.6v6 52 plate

maybe its just me but sometimes on pulloff it takes an age to drop into 2nd gear it goes up to 35000 rpm to change into 2nd but other times ok is it just me also does mine have a 5 speed auto box or 4 speed auto theres no warning lights on its only done 78000 miles thanks glenn

(hi all found out why my mig had a intermitten fault called aa out done a computer check code p1700 auto trans control module also my gear selector light were all coming on so we disconnected gear selector indicator car now running fine
so the gear selection lights were all coming on was confusing
the module hence problem so i dont if anybody else has had this problem or not

hi all im putting the original stereo back in my mig ive put the black block on the back of stereo and clipped other bit to main grey plug but i have a small plug with about 6 wires but dont know were it clips to please any ideas :-? :-?

hi there just got a 2.2 auto x reg but started it up this morning and the warning light appeared a car picture with a spanner any ideas what this means car drives ok sometimes when i put into neutral all the lights on gearbox light up aswell poss elec fault? are there any know problems i need know thanks

hi all long time last on forum just got myself a 2.5 v6 on a t reg but its misfiring on number 3 and 6 he told it needs a spark generator i gather its a coil pack i need are they easy to change any help would be great or diagram

hi there can anybody give us some advice please the other day i had the gearbox warning light come on and the symbol with a car and a spanner and the engine warning light the car just lost power but other times i have drove car this dont happen i thought when a warning light comes on it stays on its driving me up the wall now

hi all had this car a couple of days nows hope this isnt to bad but have a clonking noise drivers side i think its quite loud any ideas what this could be streering does feel as if its pulling to one side any help would be great

hi all are exhaust manifolds gaskets easy to do drivers side needs doing gaskets only about £12 but ive been told about an hour to do is that right thanks

hi all my exhaust has a slight noise worse when cold is it easy to change the gasket or do you think its the manifold do they crack etc.. also how many gaskets or manifolds would i need is there 2?
