Omega General Help / Child occupancy sensor

Hello all long time no post, I was wondering if anyone has come across a way to get the ecu that controls the child seat occupancy sensor replaced or fixed if poss, I've had it too a couple of local mechs and they have said along with vauxhall that my ecu has gone caput so any ideas would be very much appreciated

Omega General Help / Po725 engine speed circuit malfunction

Hello all got a new problem my car is coming up with po725 fault code not really sure what it is any guidance would be appreciated, the facts I have are there's no faults in the engine but when you go into the abs ecu there is a message saying 246-(4) no engine rpm present, I have looked on google and it points to a crank sensor however we have fitted a crank sensor recently and fault code 19 doesn't come up that's about as much info as I can give any help would be great cheers

Hello everyone long time no post well I've now got 2 omega's both 3.0ltr both elite one of them is a pre facelift and that's why I need some advice, about 1 month ago steering went stiff and that's all it is but before I poking around does anybody have any ideas what could be wrong thanks in advance

Hello I've tried everything to get the red light off my dash because I've got a dodgy child seat sensor what I was wondering is can it be turned off if youve got access to a tech 2 because there is an option to turn it off but it won't let you do it .

hello again still having problems with the airbag light so gonna plug it into a tech 2 so does anyone know of one in the northwest area or close to the northwest area don't mind driving to where ever it may be again thanks in advance for any help forth coming.

Omega General Help / Tc light and airbag light

Hello in need of advice my Tc light is coming on intermittently and I've had it in and they've told me it's a fault on gearbox some type of message is being sent and it's saying there's something wrong but I have had the ecu checked by the boy and he said the ecu has no programming, so I was wondering if that's possible it seems like I'm being fed a line but not sure

does anyone know why the rev counter would bounce round and the TC light and airbag light next to it would be on i know it's not abs ecu well it could need programming but it wouldn't make the air bag light come on or the rev counter to bounce.

hello all another problem with my elite again ,so here go's the rev counter jumps to 7000 the TC light is still on and the red air bag light has come on i thought it was the abs ecu that was wrong because i put  3.2 on but i've now put the right one on and no difference could these things lead to the infamous crank sensor ?? or has anyone got any other ideas, again any help woulld be great as i'm really at my wits end with it now

hello everyone i have a query i need to put my ecu on tech 2 but a couple of vauxhall dealers have said that i need my pass code but when i've put it on the tech 2 before no one's needed the pass code it seems like the dealers are trying to rip me off so would like clarification if possible   :-?

Omega General Help / Abs ecu Tc and starting issues

Hello all I need some advice so here goes I've just replaced my abs ecu after getting it back from BBa reman, it was tricky but do-able defo put spacers on when refitting or you'll swear lots,
Anyway here goes I started car and no probs it was nice having trouble free driving with her then put fuel in and when I started car it had traction control light on which I was kinda expecting because it says that it can happen in maintenance so I thought no probs, however later in the day it started but cut out and then started fine, the next morning it happened again but this time I had to rev it a little to get it started ( it seemed like choke wasn't working, I know it doesn't have one) but when i got in car to come home from work it was fine with no traction control light on and running beautifully again later it happened again so I cleaned idle control valve and even got another one to fit which didn't work so my question is
Does the abs ecu affect idle I know it affects Tc but can't see how it would affect idle.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
