check the idle control valve. but that would bring a code up. you say you canged the crank sensor have you put all the vac pipes on and pluged all the sensors in.

Omega General Help / Re: Steamy windows
« on: 24 January 2010, 11:33:26 »
the misting up off windows is common at this time off year its due to the damp in the air. also cold colthes etc eg(glasses when you walk outside the mist up)  the aircon drys the humitdy out off the air and stops the misting up. it happens in my truck just wack aircon on all gone. also make sure pollen filter nice and dry. if matrix is leaking coolent level drops and carpets in rear get soaking wet.

on plod cars its fitted to help the cooling system as they sit for long periods just ticking over so the water pump isnt doing all the work.

Omega General Help / Re: Oops! I think i need new brake pads...
« on: 24 January 2010, 13:04:55 »
few tho left in them yet.
inside pads wear quicker due to thats wear the piston is the outer is just draged onto the disc. allways check the slides when changing pads. and dont change pads n discs at the same time do one pair first  leave for a week then do other. pads 1st then discs. but the garage will do both together.

you need the key to be able to turn the barrel to release the pin and stop the tumblers from falling.
