Another question, if I change the complete hub/bearing will it change the alignment/tracking??

FAG £60 at all German parts last I looked. It is the OE part.
Comes with bearing cap, which often gets battered on removal and is not supplied by pattern copies.
As said avoid the conti direct/tech ones. They are shit. Excess play from new. Destroyed both in a few months.
Assume that this is Jims' silver Elite, rather than the Ex PlodAye its the silver 3.2 elite

Im working all weekend Jim.But will have a look at the condition of it on Monday.I know that they can corrode where the pipes come out the top,so will check that and let you know.many thanks

Cool, Is there any rust on the bodywork, ie: rear arches, doors etcAre you breaking her???I really don't wanna break her, not only do I not have the time or space, I'd like to see her stay on the road.... :-/
