Despite that xenons consume less power - 35W than conventional bulbs, they need ~15000V and not just 12V. In theory it could kill you, but whether they can blow hand off? The knowledge of specialists from Vauxhall knows no bounds... what they gonna do to achieve one more customer? A? ;P

Ebay often have the bulbs - phillips or osram are recommended over chinese crap. or your local factors - but get a price 1st, they vary a lot
Recently there is a lot of fakes from China on eBay, though the price will still be high to make you think the item is genuine. This doesn't just apply to xenons, but everything I noticed.
