Just bought an old bin of a 2ltr GLS estate as a quickie replacement for my dead Galant :(

The Omega has a radio that forgets everytime you switch off, has some electrical issues with the engine too, no CD, no AC, overheating, losing water, irregular revving at idle, overpriced (£500)

BUT

I love it already!!!!!!!!
The handling is so sweet!! :y

Off to look at a much newer 3ltr Elite (i need toys!!) - Omegas - where u been all my life???
 ;D

sorry pedro - really looking for a diesel van, but i would've taken a diesel estate astra  :(

the search continues.........regards the mig its done 94k, everything in the ad is the same except a small hole in the exhaust which needs to be patched, if i'm keeping or selling privately i'll get it fixed, if i'm using it as a trade in i won't  :y

Well when its available let me know, if i can hold onto my cash that long! The wifes just anounced that she saw a nice Laguna for sale! :o :-? :o :-?

Nice Laguna? Does such a thing exist  8-)

nope - don't touch it with a barge pole m8 - trust me i've one i bought a few weeks ago and its hateful  :(

I like the look of the newer models -- but I am told the electrics are hell on earth. On the upside a neighbour of mine has one and is delighted with it.

i dont know what renault were thinking they've shown no grasp of being competent at electrics in the past, yet they've festooned my car with sensors for everything and a keyless ignition - its lottery which component goes first and whether the cars rendered unusable or not  :y

maybe later less knackered ones are better but i won't be buying another one  ;)

that said, 50mpg's not bad tho  :)
