Hi Johnny,it's really worth the effort,we stayed at Gatcombe Farm, just the other side of Long Ashton.Left the show early on friday to grab some food and drink outside the van,and 88  balloons flew right over us,we must have had the best seats in the show.

                                               Alfie.

Fantastic, I'll have to keep a lookout for that next year  :)

Sounds great Alfie, wish I could have seen that, I remember seeing them when I was driving home on the M4 one year, absolutely spectacular  :y

They only found the body when they used a sniffer dog apparently, so it may have been hidden well. The partner of the gran had apparently once been the partner of the mother as well...

I quite often send or read a text while driving. Phone being dash mounted next to the CID. It is no different to unputting the addresss in the Nav while driving.

Which you're not supposed to do either...

Texting is definitely very dangerous, I did it once in my younger days, and even though I was trying to pay attention to the road, I strayed into oncoming traffic. Which is why now, I don't bother trying to read or send texts while driving, if it's that important, pull over first

I've thought about this, with my kids in the car most of the time and a boring dual-carriageway 70 mph commute to work, my racetrack days are behind me and I drive sensibly nearly all the time. I don't know if it would bring my premiums down by much though, it probably benefits teenagers most.
I'm still a bit dubious about what they would do with the data though

No, it's definitely NOT safe to text and drive at the same time. In the early-ish days of mobile phones I was trying to read a text whilst driving and nearly crashed head on into traffic coming the other way. Never again, I always pull over somewhere safe if I feel a text or call is that important.
It really scares me to know that there are a large proportion of drivers that do this all the time when driving, you see it every single day, looking down at their phones or just blatantly talking on it in full view.

The fella who bought my Omega didn't drive it before buying, bit of a leap of faith on his part because he was driving it from South Wales to Derbyshire, a fair distance. He got there, as far as I know  :-\

Sorry to hear that you're not feeling so great Phil, I hope things pick up for you soon. As regards the kids, mine are a constant source of amusement, the things they come out with on a day to day basis is amazing. I wonder sometimes how we ever lived without them  :)

Yeah, love mountain biking myself, plenty of hills round here Alfie  ;D

It's at times like these that you need a certain Welshman with an unrivalled knowledge of buses to make an appearance... surprised Seth hasn't commented on this yet  ;D ;D
