Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Car phone aerial lead
« on: 09 May 2010, 11:06:32 »
Hi

I am a Planet Rock fan and want to put a dab add on tuner into the car, if I replace the stubby car phone aerial with a bee sting dab whip can the lead be reterminated with the dab connectors to save running a new lead, has anybody done this and where does the lead run to?

Thanks

Omega General Help / Re: lower ride height
« on: 06 September 2011, 08:51:52 »
I have Eibach's on mine with Bilstein shocks, others on here says improves the ride and handling and they are not wrong. Dropped a CD spec by 30mm infact more like 20mm because the stand springs seem to sag anyway over time even on a low mileage car. ALso upgraded to 17in alloys with 235 profile tyres, car is a completely different beast. I think if you drop 40mm you will need to use shortened shocks but others on here far more knowledgable than myself.

I am pretty certain they are not the same because when I was purchasing some new shocks the vectra part numbers were different on the Bilsteins anyway. Loads of Omegas being broken, just get onto ebay or 24/7 spares they will sort you out no problem i'm sure.

Omega General Help / Retro fit of headlight washers
« on: 10 August 2011, 18:05:20 »
I have a new bumper to fit which has in the pressure washers, I was just going to leave them on not plumbed in but the donnor car has all of the system in place still. I have a CD model 2002 is it straight forward to get the washers operating and if so what bits would I need off of the old car, i.e pump and wiring etc. Many thanks I could not find an FAQ.

I thought I would have to get it re-aligned so thanks for confirming, do I need to get the camber bolts if they don't come in the box?
