« on: 16 December 2011, 08:36:27 »
I'm on a trip today, already done 150 miles, need to make another 150 to get home but got EML light on a few miles back. I don't have all codes with me today....is that an O2 sensor? Omega is driving normally for now. I'm concerned because I need to drive back home and it's a long way to get there ??? Thanks

I work as a train ticket controler and believe me, I have big imagination about what would I do to him.... Sadly they all are protected like endangered species so I can only make him tea or coffee instead of breaking his bones.... Ah where are those good times..... :-[

I'd love to see the confused faces on people when they see your car in a car park (parking lot  ;)) I'd guess that most wouldn't have even heard of Opel let alone seen an 'Opel Omega'  ;) ;) ;) :)
Indeed!  :) By the way, very nice car!

As far as I know, 9-5 and Vectra share platform, so a few parts are exchangeble.... For 3.0 diesel (Isuzu engine) I've heard it's a bit too rough ang noisy for a Saab. There were some issues with this engine - cracked head and similar after reaching 100.000 miles. I'll try to find something about it because 9-5 was a car I was looking for some four years ago.

I will, it's for a friend, not me, but I'm on an internet hunt for some local key magician now (kids fell asleep after two hours of rolling all over the bed..). Hello silence my old friend...  :y

Thanks Cem,  I've found that page too, an hour ago. The point of all this is "there is always a way" . Thanks again. If this doesn't work.......I just need a canister full of gasoline  8) This will save the entire problem  ;D

Thanks Entwood and Cem, problem os thete is no backup key. Can the code on key be "synchronised" as on omega maybe? By puting a key into keyfob and lock/unlock? Or is was ment to break down so the stealers could charge extra money?
