Mot day and passed with a few advisories
Please check the Forum Guidelines at the top of the Newbie section
You can determine if it's the wheel bearing by jacking the car and inspecting. It's unlikely to be the problem,as you would have other symptoms. Changing them just for the sake of it is daft.
Which leaves a worn out shock/top mount/bearing/rusty strut tower.
Knackered shock is where I would look next.
Should be in the guides somewhere
But first reawd the caveats at the top of this section
You can, but you ideally need the entire setup from a non Elite car as the Bose aspect will cause no end of headaches.
Yes, but follow the 2.2 breather guide whilst you're in thereTried to sort out the lumpy idleing Well i cleared the TH out as it was abit dirty
Did you remove the throttle body itself? So you could clean under neath of the throttle housing?
Cam cover gasket change, clean it all up and coil pack itself should be fine. Get a genuine gasket if you can, still worth extra in my view on those.
Yeah got the housing completly out removed from car and 2 tins used nice and shiny again so you are saying doing cam gaskets and cleaning up coil pack should sort it out
