Hi sorry if its been covered but whats it like idleing is it ok

Reason i ask SWMBO Zaffy threw up similar codes and was idleing like a bag of nails after changing cam cover gaskets i was stuck for hours it was throwing a wobbler to then relise id forgotten to reconnect gearbox breather so its either

A) pipe not connected

B) Split in pipe

Might be worth a check

You can determine if it's the wheel bearing by jacking the car and inspecting. It's unlikely to be the problem,as you would have other symptoms. Changing them just for the sake of it is daft.

Which leaves a worn out shock/top mount/bearing/rusty strut tower.

Knackered shock is where I would look next.

If it was WB then you would hear a grumbleing noise would you not

You can, but you ideally need the entire setup from a non Elite car as the Bose aspect will cause no end of headaches.

So a cdx etc non bose system is there a how too

Tried to sort out the lumpy idleing Well i cleared the TH out as it was abit dirty

Did you remove the throttle body itself? So you could clean under neath of the throttle housing?

Cam cover gasket change, clean it all up and coil pack itself should be fine. Get a genuine gasket if you can, still worth extra in my view on those.

Yeah got the housing completly out removed from car and 2 tins used nice and shiny again so you are saying doing cam gaskets and cleaning up coil pack should sort it out :y  :y :y
Yes, but follow the 2.2 breather guide whilst you're in there ;)

Have done this on more than once, today done breather at rear seems to of helped a little  but still a bug bare for me i like things perfect then washed SWMBO Zaffy and changed thr taillight bulb so she should be happy :D ;D 8) :y
