Thanks everyone, yes got to take advantage of being reasonably healthy and not putting things off, I've seen plans relatives have made being cruelly snatched away in the blink of an eyelid recently, you just don't know what's around the corner.

Flying to Barbados, visiting Curacao Bonaire St.Vincent Grenada St.Lucia St.Kitts Antigua St.Maarten then back to Barbados.

I'm jealous. That sounds good but must cost a pretty penny. :y

Remember to bring back a stick of rock for all of us. ;)
.

After losing my cousin last year & my brother in law in January we've both said we're going to enjoy every minute that's possible you can't take it with you, no point in being the richest person in the cemetery.

Hope you have a great time, Mick, lots of great food, drink and sun  :y

Thanks Steve, we're both looking forward to it, did the Canaries last year & it was superb couldn't fault anything, if the comments on this one are anything to go by it should be fabulous, and as for the food it really is mouthwatering 👍

Got an email yesterday re our forthcoming Carribbean cruise, boarding passes now available to download + luggage labels & ID photos required, on the website many people have complained how difficult it was to get this done, I am certainly not computer savvy but got it all done in 20 minutes , flights confirmed & seats booked weeks ago , looking forward to some sunshine 🌞 ✈️🛳️✈️🛳️🌞

Yes indeed all sounds very suspect.

Booked the RRS in to have a new suspension compressor fitted, last replaced in 2016 according to its service history , has thrown up a couple of faults recently and seems a bit sluggish when operating.

That's not good ridiculous though when some lunatic is going round torching vehicles, I only do around 6,000 miles a year & the RR is probably only worth about £3,500 fortunately  both our cars are garaged when not being used, one guy on the RR forum has been quoted £8,000 for a car that's worth £40,000 but the value of newer Range Rovers are plummeting due to so many being stolen, I'm so glad I never swopped mine a few months ago I was quoted around £1400 for an SVR which  I thought was crazy god knows what it would be now.

Funny enough I've done exactly the same this afternoon after reading horror stories about Range Rover premiums, I paid £320 last year with LV I've had quotes ranging from £240 - £720 AA being  the dearest it's not due for a while yet so will be interesting to see what LVs renewal is like.

No the MX5 went back to the supplying dealer a few weeks back , just wasn't being used I think it had about 400 miles on the clock lost a few grand but would have lost a lot more if we'd hung onto it.

Yes the guy that looks after it said I'd be mad to get rid of it , hope you are feeling a bit better now Steve.
