...they live on the front and rear suspension and attach to the arb.......changed both front month or two ago....will check rear asap, didn't even think about that
there are some devices that a number of sound detectors are attached.. some services/mechanics have those.. it would be easier with those imo..My doesn't but I'll find it anyway, thanks
so you can be sure..
gearbox mounts..That's what I didn't check.....going under it now
also could be front exhaust sections they have some isolation material inside which may rattle.. :-/
have you checked the heat shields on the exhaust?Yes, that was first thing i checked and it hears like heat shield banging somewhere but it 's all ok
jack up the car safely or better on a ramp..Tried everywhere, I don't have any idea left :-/
then try a plastic hammer on suspicious parts..
Possibly cats innerds let go :-/Crossed my mind, tried to shake cats while car was up but no rattle inside. Exaust is new from cat to the end. Also passed mot in june
Grind it back to bare metal, coat in rust converter, bit of filler, rub smooth then prime and paint it. Then coat the inner arch in underseal nice and thickly. That's what I've done on my omega two weaks ago, it worked just fine on previous cars for at least one winter, and it's cheap
Did mine 2 years ago and it aint come back yet, max cost including buying everything about £25 and I have enough left to do it all over again
