I'm sure the official line is the card is only for the nameholder.
Welcome to OOF
Everyone I speak to seems to recommend BoschI believe that only the slimline bosch models are made in germany, the rest are in poland. I have a hotpoint slimline dishwasher and for some reason if i use tablets it overfoams(the engineer says it is due to the hard water area we live in) so i need to stick to powder. I think if you go to john lewis they usually offer a 5 year gaurantee on some models. If you are looking at spending 3-400 then i would go for a siemens. Also factor in cost of delivery and connection / disposal of old appliances as once you factor these in a local independent offering these services for free usually ends up cheaper.
But seen this in Stainless

Black seems to be the in thing at the mements, but I cant justify the price as much as I lov it.

But there may be a chance I have to go for a slimline, but these aint much cheaper than the Black one.

Just used argos as a basic price search as I was looking at there catalogue yesterday.
Any advice on long term running/service costs and reliabilty of any brands would be appreciated.
TIA.
