The teeth were no savable and this is the only dentist i have had faith in, his adult teeth were above them and he had an abcess so if she dint remove the other tooth then the infection would have kept coming back, i am in no doubt she did the right thing :y

I am happy that in your case it was genuine.
Everyone has there own experiences - e.g. my dentist was telling me for 2 years i needed a filling and when the practice changed hands, i was told i didn't need one!

Sorry to hear of your discomfort. I have heard stories where dentists deliberately do unnecessary work to qualify for more government money.  I hope that is not the case here but it seems strange that such a young kid would need 2 teeth out

Voted, not much now & still well in positive equity. No store or credit cards (anymore) & small debt i have is arranged not arrears.
What i don't understand is, with credit cards if you can pay in full each month to avoid charges why do you need it in the first place? :-?

It is a matter of convenience (i.e. not having to carry a big wad in your pocket at all times or cheque book). Also you can get protection/assitance in areas of disputes, lots offer reward schemes and to shop online where most of the best deals are had.

I think it is this attitude that has helped this become the best forum on the web.

Without you and the admins. time and effort the OOF wouldn't happen and for that I know all of us thank you. Looking at the recent posts there seem to be plenty of new members joining also:y

After you cancel your sky subscription you will not get all of the freeview channels - I know you won't get dave, sky sports news and more 4 music for sure.

My wife calls the forum dave  (like the tv channel) as a joke. She became more interested though when i told her i can get up to 40% off all year round (with abs card)

P.S. Just showed her the diamond encrusted merc. I reckon she is slowly coming round to our way of thinking
