Got an email yesterday re our forthcoming Carribbean cruise, boarding passes now available to download + luggage labels & ID photos required, on the website many people have complained how difficult it was to get this done, I am certainly not computer savvy but got it all done in 20 minutes , flights confirmed & seats booked weeks ago , looking forward to some sunshine 🌞 ✈️🛳️✈️🛳️🌞

Alex Navalny, long time Putin critic, and a bit too brave for his own good.
.

Yes indeed all sounds very suspect.

Booked the RRS in to have a new suspension compressor fitted, last replaced in 2016 according to its service history , has thrown up a couple of faults recently and seems a bit sluggish when operating.

That's not good ridiculous though when some lunatic is going round torching vehicles, I only do around 6,000 miles a year & the RR is probably only worth about £3,500 fortunately  both our cars are garaged when not being used, one guy on the RR forum has been quoted £8,000 for a car that's worth £40,000 but the value of newer Range Rovers are plummeting due to so many being stolen, I'm so glad I never swopped mine a few months ago I was quoted around £1400 for an SVR which  I thought was crazy god knows what it would be now.

Funny enough I've done exactly the same this afternoon after reading horror stories about Range Rover premiums, I paid £320 last year with LV I've had quotes ranging from £240 - £720 AA being  the dearest it's not due for a while yet so will be interesting to see what LVs renewal is like.

No the MX5 went back to the supplying dealer a few weeks back , just wasn't being used I think it had about 400 miles on the clock lost a few grand but would have lost a lot more if we'd hung onto it.

General Discussion Area / Re: Carlson Putin interview
« on: 10 February 2024, 08:47:19 »
He said he wasn't going to invade Ukraine, that was a bit of a porky  ;D

That's why he deliberately termed the incursion as a Special Military Operation

So you admit he is a liar then?  ???

Semantics.

An invasion supposes a complete intention to take over a country. This was an operation to expel the Ukrainian forces from the Donbass regions that had declared independence and had been recognised by the Russian parliament.

In any event, did either you or STEMO actually watch the whole interview?
I didn't watch one minute of it, nor do I have any intention of. I don't see the point of even discussing the situation on a forum such as this, I merely demonstrated that Putin was a liar, hardly a revelation.
The course of events will not be influenced by sycophantic interviews or discussions on forums. Pointless, ill informed debate seems to be a late night topic both on tv and various social media channels but, in the end, if it goes off, we'll all burn together. In the meantime, I'll try to enjoy my day  :)

Common sense seems to come through with folk our age Steve I'm with you 100 percent 👍
