Nope....its the monster connector for the multichanger and speakers etc....although being an early base model it appears not to have the speakers wired through it

may be worth mentioning that this 95 car does not have the rear shelf speakers or the philips amp in n/s rear wing. hence why Ican use my jvc mp3 player in it fine and not in the other cars. the empty spaces in the plug pictured above must be for the amp and rear shelf speaker wiring. interesting... another mod coming on i feel.  ;D

its not a base model tho, its a cdx model, often wondered why there was no changer in the boot, but there was a single blaupunkt cd300 in the car when i got it.

Ill try finding the section of loom from that connector to the boot from a breakers, I have plenty spare changers and head units.

cheers

what causes these to malfunction? they are sealed units and as far as i can see there is no damage to the led's or the tracks. yet on 2 of mine I have random led's out or just dim.

cheers

You wouldnt happen to know which wires are which do you? as the vital link in the how to for picking up the wires is dead.

I did try and search for the images but came up with nowt, maybe Im using the wrong keywords

Carin Phlips sat nav  are the ones I tried.

Thanks

Forgot to mention, its th philips unit with the black metal bracket, Im guessing it goes in the boot somewhere.

The shape of the bracket is throwing me off.

I often wondered why they made it light up, as its not often that surnoof's are used at night, but Ive heard some people call them a "moonroof" so maybe its to cater for them lol  ;D
