If it`s a 2.0ltr CD nope. You`ll need cruise stalk, actuator with cable, bracket on throttle body (rare only fitted to 2.0 CDX) possibly 4-pin brake switch (if not already fitted, doubtfull due to MY) plus a chat with TechIIITS A GLS SO THATS A NO I TAKE IT
sounds like your drivers side locking solienoidcool will look into replacing this many thanks

I'd start with changing the thermostat, if it's stuck open (as I think it is) it's letting the warming water from the block out into the rad thus cooling it before it is needing to be cooled. This will mean it'll take ages to warm up and use more fuel in doing so. HTHis the thermostat an easy job . if so will attempt it today , local motor factors are open oops silly me i have a haynes manual to work from lol
The needle should sit around the middle of the gauge once it's warmed up, if it's not getting that far then could be thermostat stuck open. Does it take a long time to warm up?yes it seems to take a while to warm up, it used to be about a mile down the road and was at normal temp :-/ when i say warm up it stays around 80
