General Car Chat / Re: Wheel spacers
« on: 22 November 2014, 11:28:19 »
I suppose technically they increase the track of the car but my understanding is that any wheelspacers are bad for the stress they put on wheel bearings. If they were a good idea the manufactucters would fit them as standard.

Far better to make sure the standard suspnsion components are up to standard and maybe fit uprated shock absorbers.

problem is getting someone mad enough to want to get in rat when running open headers/650cfm carb and gas--with crap brakes :D :D

 ;D

Forgive my ignorance. What are open headers  :-\
ooh sorry manifolds mate--drop pipes off--exhaust kick straight down then at about a million decibels ;D ;D allows fuel to basically get in/out asap

Lol so essentially you have a downpipe off the manifold. . . . . And that's it?  :o ;D
no when racing--put tubular manifolds on

Hope something like a wishbone bolt or something will pop in. It's fairly hefty, seem to recall 22 or 24mm spanner used for the vac hose. Will rummage in the garage...
