Well, they might be getting a bit thin on the road, but today my Omega 2.6 saloon went through the MOT with no problems. This is the sixth year in a row of straight passes. Still only got 80,000 on the clock, and car looking good still.  :y :y

I never had anything like that ronny.....I am using Opera as a browser. So many sites saying they are not going to support IE, and I don't like Edge, I thought I would try Opera....  :y
Anyhow, its done and dusted, and you learn something new every day  :y :y

I'll have to give ATP a miss, Al. Thanks for that link, though. I registered, and put some stuff in my cart, went to checkout, but in the address dropdown box, there is nothing for the uk. I'll go for the other links. Shame as just the pair of bones were only 42 euro's, mind you I dont know what postage was.
As said, I only use the car to potter around Brackley nowadays, odd trip to Wycombe or Banbury.

Thanks for the links, chappings....however, Al, I can't understand a word of the ATP page. Can't see how to add to basket, even.  :-\

Are Delphi wishbones any good nowadays.
Going to replace mine...in days of old when money flowed, I fitted Lemforder. But as a retired gentleman, who drives at a sedate pace, knocking up about 3000 miles or less a year in the Omega, obviously money has to be 'nurtured'. In laymans terms, I have to justify to 'her indoors'

Greetings all,
Sorry the late reply to this, but yes, I have been on my sick bed. About 7 or 8 weeks ago, I developed a 'cold', which turned into a cough, then I started hallucinating, and running a temperature. Chris got the doctor in, and he diagnosed a serious chest infection. I was whipped in hospital, and x-rays taken and I was then told I had pneumonia. I was put on drips, and pumped full of antibiotics. Finally sent home a few days later, but the coughing has caused muscle problems around the midriff. Coughing or sneezing nearly cuts me in half. Had to get the doctor back in last week, did not think it was a cracked rib, but still the muscles. The good news is he said it will take weeks to repair !!!!!!
Anyhow....as to a meet. Normal service obviously can't be resumed. I am confined to barracks for the foreseeable, due to my vulnerability. Just starting to do short walks. Lost a stone in weight.
So, unfortunately, a meet will have to wait until all this crap is over :( :( :( :y :y

Rolf…..there was subtle joke there.....

Every Christmas for about the last 8 years, Chris Rea's song 'Driving home for Christmas', is played over the airwaves here. Some wag decided to make a joke about him not driving home because his car failed the MOT :)
