It would appear, despite his frequent non PC remarks (probably why I like him), he is a bloody good MP.  People of Henley are apparently gutted to lose him.

I doubt he'll reverse many of fatty's decisions (cost too much now), but hopefully will not bring too many more in.

Just need to get rid of the useless idiot who ruined the economy stince 97 now

Couldn't agree more!  Gordon Tw8t was never voted into the PMs job by the electorate and as such should never have been PM.  Chri*t he's worse than that grinning idiot Blair!

Get a copy of IE7 and run an install - it will try and put right any problems with your existing IE7 installation.

PM me your email address and i'll email you IE7 setup file.

I don't think this is actually possible with Vista - the IE7 install only runs on XP sp2... IE7 is built-in with Vista

IE supposedly "built in" with windows 98,me,xp & Vista - thats what all the hastle was about with MS a few years back.  If u re-run an IE install IE will try to repair existing install.

Better search facility - with seperate search for Tech Info and How To?
use advanced search by pressing search tab, and select the section (in Maintence Guides).

Please note, for quick search and advanced search, deafult time is last 3 months, as full search can take ages.

Thanx - never thought of looking for an advanced search!!

Long winded way .. but might help... :(

If you get Belarc or Aida32 software diagnostic programes, they should be able to read the motherboard / chipset details. It is sometimes easier to find drivers for specific motherboards / chipsets than it is for the makers of the laptops

Aida32 now superceeded by Everest Home Addition (Freeware) get it from http://www.majorgeeks.com/EVEREST_Free_Edition_d4181.html

Cheers

Will try that

You may find ver1.2 easier to use than the 1.4beta.

HI
Go to http://www.halfdone.com/ukd/ and download Unknown DEvices.  Run this & it'll list all devices on laptop incl info down to chip nºs.  You can then use this info to search for drivers.
For example it will list manufacturers  of both audio & modem chips together with chip refs.
Good luck
