Any issues with the LPG setup? Any pictures of that?  :y

No issues with LPG at all. I will get some pictures of the front end and tank up tomorrow. Unfortunately it was dark by the time I finished work, so only managed to get some rubbish pictures. Will try in the morning and get some better ones posted up.

Sorry, forgot to add, park pilot speaker is not working and needs replacement.

...and as of this morning, it has a new MOT that expires 16/11/2016. No advisories this year either. Interestingly the MOT was done at a different garage this year (one that does do remedial work).

19
3.2 Elite with GID. 92300 miles. 1 previous owner (who happened to own a Vx dealership and spent a lot on regularly servicing the car/maintaining it)
EMER LPG conversion (cost £1500).
80L LPG tank (cylindrical tank) in the boot.
Rear tyres are Goodyear F1 Assymetric 2 (6mm tread)
Front tyres are Hankook Ventus S1 Evo (7mm tread)
Leather interior in very good condition.
Fully functional electric driver seats with memory and electric passenger seats.
Front and rear heated seats, all work perfectly.
Aircon re-gassed this year.
Polybushed front suspension (at WIM).
Xenon headlights with washers - fully functional.
Sunroof fully functional.

MOT due to expire 16th Nov, but is being re-tested on Monday, so will have a new MOT at point of sale. It had no advisories last year.

Full documented service history till 2012. Since then my mileage went up dramatically. So it has been serviced every 10k miles but has been done by myself or members of this forum. Cambelt changed by Daz last year (83k). At the same time had an oil change and rear springs replaced. Rear brake pads were renewed by Al this year and have done about 2000 miles since. As a result I dont have any workshop receipts for this period of time.

Car is due another oil change and I have the oil(fully synthetic) and filter ready for the change. However if you wish to change it yourself, then I can provide the oil and filter along with the car. Alternatively I can change the oil and filter pre sale.

Bad points:
Parking scuff on the off side bumper, see picture.
Dent on the off side front wing, I have been quoted £30 for paintless dent repair, but havent had time to sort it yet.
Rear spoiler lacquer has started peeling, could do with a smart repair.
Passenger side central locking motor has stopped working and has to be manually unlocked.
All alloys have some scuffs due to parking.

It is a very nice and comfortable car with lots of toys, but I have run out of parking space and with a new company lease car due soon, this has to go.

Asking price is £750, but open to negotiations after seeing the car.

Ok, for the two elderly residents who seem to have difficulty comprehending a simple topic. Lets try this:

There have been various threads on gen. dis. with undertones of discrimination based on ethnicity or religion, particularly when the discussion has been related to topics of a similar nature to what I have posted. You may not notice it, but that doesnt make it any less relevant. And I dont have the time or inclination to look up these messages and repost them.

So my point of posting the link is: evil exists in human beings independent of race or ethnicity.

Take your time reading it. And hope you understand it this time around. ::)

PS: I have no idea how old you two are so my initial comment needs to be taken with a large bucket of salt.

I really can't understand where you are going with this? The link covers 7 paedophiles, (white British.) if this is your point, I still don't understand.?  :-\  Maybe I'm just 'thick'??

A variety of things. Rods post hits the nail on the head. I readily agree that I occasionally fall into the trap of stereotyping people as well.

The fact that men as young as those convicted having been doing this for a while is a shameful reflection of modern society.

Haven't looked at the link...but I've never come across that on the forum.

And that is often the stance taken. Ignore it knowingly or unknowingly. More often unknowingly as it doesn't even sound wrong to the listener.

More than once on this forum I have seen members make statements that seem to link sexual predators and crime with immigrants and blame the decline of the UK on immigration/immigrants.

Whilst I have my own idea about immigration and asylum (and believe me it is not what you may think), this article seems to bring my thoughts to the fore:

Link

It is not the colour or ethnicity of the person that makes them evil. Evil can be found amongst people who look like you and will take advantage of the fact that they have your trust!

In a sexually open and progressive society such as ours, it makes me wonder what makes people do such acts?

Glad you are ok Al.

Sorry... But there should be a greater emphasis placed on the cyclist in London. I will bet my house that next time I drive into London (2.5 weeks time if not before) there will be at least one cyclist jump a red light and at least one come up the inside when I am indicating to turn left ::)

Some very good ideas, in principle, but mostly another bout of Lorry Driver Bashing :-X

Perhaps Boris should go out in a lorry for a day and see what it's really like trying to watch for stupid car drivers, box junctions, lights, suicidal pedestrians and lunatic, law flouting cyclists ::)

Oh FFS. Every day I see car/lorry drivers using a mobile, texting, jumping a red light, tailgating, engaging in road rage, applying make up, fiddling with hair, smoking, drinking, eating sarnies, peeing in a bottle etc etc etc. I could go on. The only ones who die are the cyclists who get run over by said car/truck drivers. Get some perspective.  >:(

Why do cyclists drive up the inside? Because the frigging cycle lane is painted on the flipping left of the road. Thats why. Because the moronic road designers have no clue.
Why do they ride in the middle of the road? Because the road surface is so poor that they choose to ride a bit more into the middle of the road and avoid deathtrap drains and potholes that could potentially kill them.
Why do they set off a second before the light turns green. So that the idiot in the car behind doesnt try to kill them with their reckless driving.

Oh no. Blame the poor cyclist who chooses to make your journey slightly easier by reducing congestion, make the air your children breath better by reducing emissions. Yup target the weaker road user. That makes sense.

Seriously fed up with cycle bashing folk who have never been on a push bike in traffic.

As usual, certain people can't help but think this thread is about cycle bashing. It's not... It's about a stupid proposal. There are drivers of all vehicles flouting the law and I agree that cyclists are vulnerable. Because of this they should be more defensive. I'm not talking about setting off a few seconds early, I refer to the retards who blatantly ignore red lights.

Should have actually read what I posted ;)

Oh... And for the record - I have cycled in heavy traffic. I also rode a motorcycle and drove HGVs in heavy traffic too. Additionally I've cleared up the mess left behind after accidents caused by all parties. But, of course, I was just bashing the cyclist ::) ::)

Sorry, I seem to have quoted your post. Intention was simply to reply to comments on thread, not direct the response at you per se.

It is a shame that some people miss out on an excellent driving experience because they are more concerned about "what others would think if they drove a BMW".  ::)
I drive loads of them, fear not, I know exactly what I'm not missing out on ;)

Beemers aren't (often) bad cars, but not what I'll call great cars either. Certainly not good enough to justify the price premium (new or 2nd hand).

So what of a E39 vintage would cost less and handle better and justify the price as you claim? Would be interested to hear. I agree that modern BMWs have their issues. For me, the main issue is that they are mass produced rep mobiles. A Ford Mondeo is more exclusive than a 5 series.

I do lust after a M3.

They are lovely cars. RWD, handle much better than an Omega. Autobox is slicker, downshifts better. Service costs via dealer are the limiting factor. But there are numerous independents around.

My contract phone has always been with virgin , the reception has always been great . They do a sim only rolling 30 day contract for :

250MB

250 min

Unlimited texts .... all for £5

Again your paying for the MB that wont be used  :(

To be fair though, most deals nowadays have some data thrown in with them. Say you went for a PAYG sim from Three. They have the cheapest calling rates around 3ppm. So £5 gets you 167 mins. So the plan above is better even if you dont use the data allowance. I think you would be hard pushed to find a sim deal that costs less than £5 pm.
