Hi. I have recently bought an omega Cdx estate.

It had the low beam fld vision warning on the dash so I thought it must be sensor needs re attaching.

So I had the front wheel off earlier today with the hope of easily locating and attaching said seņor.

Unfortunately for me the car has had 2 new wishbones fitted recently
But there is no sensor or bracket. Thers a wire hanging down towards the wishbone but noting for it to plug into.

I'm asking has anyone of you got a spare sensor and bracket at all.
This would be a great help if you have

Thank you

Hi all Iv just joined this forum and I'd like to say
Hello to everyone.

Iv just bought an old x reg omega 2.5 td Cdx estate
And I'm very happy with it. Yeah it could do with a little more shove so ill get it remapped in a couple of weeks after reading some posts about it. And asking a couple of questions :-)

This is my 3rd omega estate now.
Iv had a 2.0 petrol estate gls manual  (r reg) and a 2.6 v6 auto cd. (Y reg) first car engine had 2cylinder heads go and finally water pump gave out and knackered engine. So that went to someone with a donor engine. And the v6 with the auto box was an amazing car but just too thirsty around town where I done most of my driving. That car was brilliant. It was only 4 years old at the time.

With this new one, Like all cars this old thers a few things to put right and in time ill get round to sorting  these  out with a little help from you guys with a bit of luck.

1. self levelling headlights completely missing the sensor and bracket ( if there is meant to be a bracket that is) on the near side front wishbone. And rear one has snapped off  the push clips but Iv held that together with a tie wrap :-)

2. The aircon/heater system only ever stays hot on the drivers side while the passenger side goes cold or hot depending on where you set it.

I'm assuming this Is the arm thats attached to the servo in the drivers side footwell behind the console so hopefully this is a 10 minute job.

Engine, gearbox, cutch, fluids all great.
So all I can say is I'm a happy man.
