try constant-mesh or better known as crash gearboxes. nearly like an automatic as you only use clutch for stopping and starting. can make a really swift gearchange after a bit of experience matching revs.

Ah! The last manual car I had before the 'shed' was my Manta B SR and that must've been getting on for 20 years ago when most car only had 4 manual gears.
I'm not so sure about non vauxhall but i had a set of gen ones on my omega and the front ones come off as fast as they went on cos they rub the ground every time you go round a bend and in turn drive you round the bend

why - doesnt your dealer have them? I would be inclined to use the real thing just to be sure.
