i had a 300 tdi a couple of years ago, often used to burst along at 90 on the motorway to an from work and was surprisingly stable, combined with the driving position, ease of maintenance, cheap parts, reasonable economy and a good comfort level,i loved that car an only got rid of it cos a mig tourer came along at a good price.

2.0 wont have traction control so its possible the whole unit might have been replaced, which i wouldnt complain about, but it probably means you dont have heated seats either :D

Would not be a major hassle to add a rear blind though :y
please see tech help as i got a blind today and have encountered a prob,it would be good to meet up with some of you if ever your down this way, keep an eye out for me i'm normally floating around  ;)

i looked under the seats and theres wires going into the bases,i know the drivers seat is leccy but the pass one is'nt so i assume that they must be heated, mind you though i put em on for a min or 2 but could'nt feel my bum warming up,the switches light up though when turned on.
