code 19 is crankshaft sensor have a read of debs posts on her saga of crankshaft sensors, there are different types for the 2.5

what was the problem with the steering ??  it drove me nuts trying to find it  >:( is it in the the steering coloumn or somewhere else ?

•Rocker gaskets: 90511451, one set per bank (£25+ Vat retail)
•O-rings: 90411826, 8 per bank (13p+ VAT retail)
•Gasket, Inlet bridge to head: 90501652, 2 off
•Gasket, Inlet to Inlet bridge: 90501653, 3 off
•Gasket, Inlet to Plenum O rings: 9118135, 6 off
•Sealent, Black (not the Green stuff!): 90485251, 1 off
think thats right for the 3.2 taken from one of marks old posts but someone will be along soon to confirm or put you right  :y

ahhh in that case then they are sikaflexed on, and well and truely stuck on  ;)  if you are doing the prep yourself it might be easier with a heat gun and something like cheesewire or very thin filler knife to slide behind and try and break the contact  :y
btw how is the old girl going ?

hi all

long time since ive had to ask a question  :o but i cant for the life of me remember how to turn down the traffic reports on the 2013  :-[  i seem to have misplaced the manual as well  :-[ must be an age thing i think  :-[  but really needs to be turned down as it makes me jump when it comes on  :o  and one of these days it will be a traffic report about me  ::)  but at least i will hear it i suppose  ;D

i would firstly take out the switch from the seat and check there also if a scrappies near you get a replacement switch to try  :y

are you saying you have a mfl with f/l strips ???  if so they could be held on by the torq screws as robg said or could be just glued/sikaflexed on  :y

can you hear the motor ???  the usual culprits for a stuck seat is coins in the runners  :y

90412159 is correct and use the 577 which is more resistant to oil than the 55 and permanent  :y

i suspect being the astra the main culprit for this is the throttle body, whip it off and give a good clean with carb cleaner  :y
