Rear side windows and rear windscreen can be limo black. Only front windscreen and front sides fall within the legal requirements.
The UK Road Vehicles (Construction & Use) Regulations 1986 Act details the legality of window tinting in the UK - and as amended specifies the minimum levels of light that must pass through the windscreen and front side windows.

For a legal window tint in the UK the specifications are:
a) Motor Vehicles first used on or after 1 April 1985
b) The light transmitted through the windscreen must be at least 75%.
c) The front side windows (to either side of the drivers’ head) must allow at least 70% of light to be transmitted through them.
Thankyou for that Rob, very helpfull mate  :y

was thinking of doing the front side light bulbs with proper LED replacements, also seen ones for the indicators and all the rear light bulbs. Not everybody likes them guess its a marmite thing but everybody is different and i do like to make my car unique to me, one other job to do is tints all round light smoke on the front doors and limo black reflective for all the others  :y :y :y ;D
