Ok! But I already have a telematics module with his plug (bought on egay!). It will works with this 2015? No pairing needed for the module? As I know only the headunit and the CID are paired right?

So only the 2015 and the CID? Anything else?

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / NCDC 2015

I have found a NCDC 2015 in a car in the scrapyard... The guy told me that I can take everything what I need.
But that's my question, what do I need to make this headunit working on my car? Do I need to take the CID with the NCDC?

I already have a CID and a NCDC2013 on mine.

Thanks all! :y

Yes I mean AUX INPUT of course. Dave will explain better than me but this solution is not the best because the poor quality of sound that we can have... That's what I thought understand... Your link has been already posted somewhere on the OOF :y

21
If you prefer a wireless remote, it's possible via the previous model (KOS-A200), I have found some on Ebay... I'm looking for one of these too, we will see later if it's worth or not lol

22
Yes it is a FM modulator (with RDS, so "compatible" with our CID's :y), connected directly with our antenna wire, so a MP3 quality sound, without parasites I guess... And it desserves an USB plug and a 3,5 jack, and we can also convert the USB plug to an Ipod connector using an optional cable... A bit pricey here in Belgium (250€)...

So all that seems interesting now if someone has tested it, please tell us :y

Maybe already discussed about but found this...
Any opinion Dave?  ::)

Omega Electrical and Audio Help / Re: Parkpilot

I think it's the URF-4 or 5 installed on the Omega and it's not available by Bosch anymore... I had the same problem and impossible to find this model! Bosch proposes to me the new one, URF-7, but the sensors are smaller so I have a problem with the holes drilled on the bumper... No way to find another bumper without holes, it's an Irmscher one!!  :P

But if I find a way to "re-make" the holes properly, I will buy the Meta-system sensors. They looks very nice, with "an internal fitting", like the new BMW's parkpilot.  ;)

I'm just busy on it at this moment, and I have re assembled the headunit now. I will test tomorrow morning and let you know!

For a new connector, I will post a topic on the car parts wanted section :y

27
Yeah I have seen that but the parts are out of stock and no more available, just the laser so...

Hi Dany
Cleaning is the simplest procedure. Mine is still going strong since the clean I mentioned in my previous post and it had exactly the symptom you described, so its worth a go.

If / when I do eventually need to fit the laser unit I bought, I'll post a how to with pictures.

Pat

Do you used water to damp your coton bud?? Dave not recommand alcohol...
The reason of my laziness is that the ISO connector behind the headunit is broken in two parts, so it is no longer clipped on the cage and it's very very difficult to remount it! The last time, I had to remove the glovebox to pass my hand and plug properly behind!

So if you have a spare 3 sections ISO connector by the way...  ::)

Obviously just the laser unit available now... I will try to clean it when I have the courage lol

Have a browse of the site, I think you'll find they can supply most of the upper and lower Mechanisms for most units.

AH! The website works better in German mode lol. Anyway the only parts that still available are the laser bloks...

And if it's broken and need a replacement, where can I find new parts? The new laser will need soldering or just a plug and play item?
