Omega General Help / Estate/saloon rear suspension the same.
« on: 05 July 2012, 10:45:54 »
As the title says, reason is that i have a full blistein lowering kit of the 2.5 td saloon and want to fit them to the 2.2 dti estate.  Would they fit or would I need new shocks and springs?

Thanks
Trev

Where did you get the bodykit from?? is it genuine irmscher??

The kit is from poland and is made to very high standards from glass fibre.
Was it an ebay purchase or do you have a website link?

i have an email address for him, if you want it, send me a pm ;)

Want!

What would you do about sidelights though if you didn't want angel eyes?

You dont have to have angels if you want, it is part of the kit. you dont have to fit them.

More Stuff,

The car is now ready to roll :D

I dont talk that much LOL, thanks for all the positive comments, work will slow down a bit as I got another saxo, dad is repairing and spraying some of the bodypanels to get it ready for resale.

With the profits from my saxo, I will be contribiting to poweder coating and sandblaster, then some rust to get treated, and the elite wheels to be ready for the car ;)

This has nothing to do with the omega or not ::)

WE'RE BACK

Well while dad was saving up for a few things, some parts we got.

^^^This is getting cut off, wondering where he got that idea from  ::)

^^^Boot full of all my saxo parts

^^^Best "steering wheel" money can buy

And since "I" forgot to post these pics when he got the kit, dad already has the rear bumper in the first coat of primer, notice the colour difference of the primers.

Finally got these badboys,

Time to slam the car, if i had my way >:( >:( >:( >:(

Hope ye all enjoy this long overdue update, reason for it is nigel bought a saxo(i know, kill me for telling him buy one) the axle was gone so that had to be done before this project could continue.

Will talk to ye soon, just wondering can I change the title of the thread as it is a bit dated.

Here is my new and most powerful omega, and car I've ever owned.

It is a 3.0L auto MV6.

This is what it sounds like,

Had fun doing this, that is me and dad talking in the middle;)

I might turn it into a drift car, after a manual gearbox, otherwise strip it and sell the parts and do a 3.0L conversion on my 04. And might throw the mv6 bumper and wheels on my estate.

Duno what I'll do  ??? :-\
