I've used them before, and so far all items they've said to be 'Genuine Vauxhall' have indeed been so. I've bought a few coil packs and non stock items and have been pleased.

I've got a decent code reader, certainly works on 2.2 Omega's...where in Oxon are you? I'm based in Kidlington.

The brown steering wheel and matching top dash was only available with the 'Shale' interior, or cream as most would put it  ;D

Thankfully it was never fitted to the DBW V6's...so no 3.2 can have it, only the 2.5 and 3.0. The 2.2's could have it, but they came out a little earlier before they switched to the DBW V6's.

Josh, did you find that number for your contact at Bicester?  :y

Ah yes, I phoned him to ask about tints...he's no longer doing it. He's pretty much retired  :-\

He did however say he'd email people he knows locally who could do it at a competive price. I'll let you know  :y

Black Omega went in for MOT today, only needed a new steering idler and rear brake pads...and no advisories. The other Omega is booked in tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have two fresh MOT's!

Managed to buy x6 brand new 225 55 16 Michelin Primacy's for £300...came from a company who used to run a fair few BMW 5 series.
Good going :y

Do you want some Michelin's? I know how you like them  ;D

If you and Mrs TB are free one evening this week, come over for some pub food  :y

Congratulations on sorting the car. It can seem like a daunting task, but now you're finished...the satisfaction is great! Well done  :y

So, shall we book it as the 20th then?

All I need to do now, is find a suitable location  ;D

Meetings, gatherings, parties etc / Oxford meet

There hasn't been an Oxford meet for some time now, and hopefully we'll soon sort that!

So, would the end of July be suitable?

Finally have working Air Con in the black Omega, thanks to Al fitting a new condenser yesterday, and a nice Kwikfit trip today. Got a massive discount on the £49 air con thing they do, so was pleased. Booked the marked police Omega in for MOT, clearly not at Kwikfit  ;D

I've put x2 bumpers in for repair and or paint with my bodyshop for members
One was £50 for a front prodrive MV6 bumper full respray
The other was £200 or £250 for substantial repair and respray to a facelift Irmscher front bumper

Now free to anyone who wants to collect. x3 available, centre caps not included  :y

It may have been police owned, but it was not a frontline police vehicle. Seems strange it has early prefacelift rear headrests though?

That's great Chris...checking MOT's was, as you said...always a pain.

Thanks for the link  :y
